    God has sense of Humor

To begin with, let’s put on our thinking caps. Think of how a live play is produced. We have the cast, the stage, and you as one of the audiences. Maybe it’s a play you have been looking forward to being part of, for the whole year and finally, you got the opportunity to attend. A friend comes and gives you the tickets to it.

The day finally comes to go, you go with your friend and see the play. The play starts off well, you have high expectations and possibly how it should end. You sit there at your sit and start narrating the entire play in your mind from start to finish. In the middle of the play you notice, the storyline is starting to take a different direction from the one you had written in your mind. You sit at the edge of your sit in anticipation, then abruptly the play comes to an expected end. Looking confused you ask your friend what is happening, he turns to you and tells you that, that was just the first part of the play, that there is another part coming up next week and there and then hands you the tickets to it. In disbelive, you cannot fathom what has just happened…

Well, your friend had an inside story about the story of the play.
When we talk about God having a sense of humor, it does not mean that He sits in Heaven laughing at us. We mean, God knows the exact place and season we are in life. He knows the ups alongside the downs and has a way prepared for us that does not seem visible at that moment.

For the last two months, I have been in a tight corner of financial need. My daily work is in design (graphic design, UI & UX design) so for those two months (August and September 2022) it has been hard to get projects, I have had more promising inquiries but they have not actualized. I remember praying and asking God to show up, other times I was frustrated with God because I felt like God had abandoned me to handle the challenges I was going through. All through this, I had a piece and confidence that things will work out for God kept encouraging me that He has got this ( whatever I was worried about) for I felt the care of God in these two months even if I could not see a way. I think at times we have an imagination or desire of how God will work or come through in a situation. Forgetting that He is God, and has many ways of doing one thing. A good example of this would be how Jesus healed some of the blind people( different healing but same issue)

As we conclude, my good report is that things have started to open up for me in my work,
the word God gave me during this period I have been in need was:

    Romans 8:28 (New Living Translation)
And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

God is the one who causes everything to work together no matter how bad it gets or looks like, that is an assurance you can Trust and hold on to.

    God is Faithful!!!

    Hebrews 13:5b (New Living Translation)
    “I will never fail you.
        I will never abandon you.”

  • What’s in a Name? – part 7

    What’s in a Name? – part 7

Welcome to the Family of God.
I thank God for you who prayed to receive Jesus as Lord in your life. Jesus has made us (me, you and everyone born again child of God, one family)

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
    Galatians 3:26‭-‬29 NLT

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
    1 John 5:11‭-‬12 NLT

    What does salvation mean?
It simply means to be born again.

What does it mean to be born again?
    1. Your sins are forgiven because the blood of Jesus was shed (Hebrews 9:22)
    2. Jesus is in your heart because you opened the door of your heart to Him (revelation 3:20)
    3. You are a new creation (1Corinthians 5:17)
    4. God accepts you into His Family, which makes you part of a new family (Galatians 4:4-6)

    *Key Scripture’s*
    Luke 1:31 , John 14:6, Philippians 2:5-11 NLT.

You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.
    Luke 1:31 NLT
    (Purpose)

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
    John 14:6 NLT
    (Person)

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
    Philippians 2:5‭-‬11 NLT
    (Power)

The three P’s in our key Scripture’s are purpose, person, power.

    1. Purpose:
Is a target, goal, an aim to be reached.
The reason why something is done or it’s done in a particular way.

    Name:
A person, Reputation or also A unique identifier.

    2. Person:
A single human being, the physical human body, seen as distinct from the mind, character.

    3. Power
    It’s capability or influence
    Physical force or strength

Today being our last day of the series on What’s in a Name?
We shall focus on the power behind the name of Jesus.

The 70 disciples came back very happy. They said, “Lord, even demons obey us when we use the power and authority of your name!” Jesus said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy’s power. Nothing will hurt you. However, don’t be happy that evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven.”
    Luke 10:17‭-‬20 GW

Jesus said, “I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I’ve given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that’s the agenda for rejoicing.”
    Luke 10:18‭-‬20 MSG

Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.
    John 17:11‭-‬12 NLT

He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death on a cross. This is why God has given him an exceptional honor— the name honored above all other names— so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
    Philippians 2:8‭-‬11 GW

We have learned that the Name of Jesus has been elevated above all other names that is (angels, devil’s, needs, wants, sicknesses or any other name that is there) God has made the name of Jesus to carry Power behind it and we see the that when Jesus sent the 72 disciple’s out they came back victorious because of the Name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus to us carries many things, that is
Salvation, Freedom, protection, unity,Life, hope, healing, Love, forgiveness, mercy, Grace, transformation, Purpose, relationship with God, miracles, power and authority over rulers of the unseen world, and God expects us not missuse His Name in any way.

As God’s Children let’s always be
    *God inside minded*

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
    1 John 4:4 AMPC

    *Prayers*
We close with the prayers Jesus prayed for us.

“My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.

“Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”
    John 17:9‭-‬11‭, ‬13‭-‬26 NLT

  • What’s in a Name? – part 6

    What’s in a Name? – part 6

Everyone wants to attain certain powers in life, but the power I am discussing with you today is not our earthly powers or any other power. It’s God’s Power. God grants us the Grace to walk in His power when we come under His Lordship (Letting Him lead and I follow and obey all He tells me to, for He is my King and I am His subject, My God and I am His servant, My Lord and I am His slave.) and leaving all of the world’s ways(that is, satan’s lordship over all the outsiders of the kingdom of God)

    Matthew 8:5-10,13
[5]As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him,
[6]And saying, Lord, my servant boy is lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains.
[7]And Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him.
[8]But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.
[9]For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.
[10]When Jesus heard him, He marveled and said to those who followed Him [who adhered steadfastly to Him, conforming to His example in living and, if need be, in dying also], I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.
[13]Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment.

It pleases God when we come under His authority and do what He says.
For me and you to walk in the power that God graciously give us, we have to be submitted to Him Fully (100%) because disobedience cuts us out of the power (authority) God has given us.

Today we are going to focus on our third P’s that is Power.

    3. Power
    It’s capability or influence
    Physical force or strength

*How do you come then under God’s Lordship?*

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
    John 3:16‭-‬17 AMPC

He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him]. He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own–His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him. But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.
    John 1:10‭-‬12 AMPC

For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.
    Romans 1:17 AMPC

    *Prayers*
Today we shall finish with the Prayer of salvation.
If not born again pray the prayer and you shall receive Jesus as Lord and Savior in your life.

But what does it say? The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach.

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
    Romans 10:8‭-‬10 AMPC

Dear God I come to You as I am, a sinner. I ask You God to forgive me of all sin that I have done. I receive Your mercy and forgiveness God. I pray that Jesus You come into my heart and take your rightful position as my Lord who has saved me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit God and give me grace to live for you in all ways, In Jesus Name I am Born Again, Amen.

If you prayed and received Jesus as Lord, reach out to us.
And welcome to the family of God.

  • What’s in a Name? – part 5

    What’s in a Name? – part 5

The three ways we build a personal relationship with Jesus is by the Holy Spirit, Prayers and through us being immersed in the Word of God,that is the Bible. Other ways is that, you have to remember that you are not the only one on Earth who is born again, but God has other countless born again believers that He expects me and you to have a Godly relationship with for us to grow in Him, that is the Church (the Body of Christ)

When God created us, He created us in His own image. (Genesis 1
[26]God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.) So we are supposed to have a relationship with God.
    As we read from James:
    James 4
[5]Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love?

God loves us deeply and it pleases Him to spend every moment with you, so He gets heart broken when ever I give myself to other things rather than giving myself completely to Him.

Jesus summed up the whole law of God into two:

    Matthew 22:37-40
[37]And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).
[38]This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
[39]And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.
[40]These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.

Today we are going to focus on our third P’s that is Power.

    3. Power
    It’s capability or influence
    Physical force or strength

Why would God want us to have Power?
    Do we need it?
    Can we do without it?

Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought. And the huge dragon was cast down and out–that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him.
    Revelation 12:7‭, ‬9 AMPC

Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come–the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!

Therefore be glad (exult), O heavens and you that dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in fierce anger (fury), because he knows that he has [goonly] a short time [left]!

So then the dragon was furious (enraged) at the woman, and he went away to wage war on the remainder of her descendants–[on those] who obey God’s commandments and who have the testimony of Jesus Christ [and adhere to it and bear witness to Him].
    Revelation 12:10‭, ‬12‭, ‬17 AMPC

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
    Genesis 1:26‭-‬27 AMPC

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
    Acts 1:8 AMPC

As we see from Scripture’s is that God made us in His own image and gave us complete Dominion over everything He created, but we lost all of the Dominion to the devil when we as humans disobeyed God at the Garden of Eden by sinning. (Sin is defined as to miss your mark)
God in His love and goodness had already come up with a plan to redeem us from this, His plan was Jesus. And that’s why God commands that we must repent of our sins and turn to Him in order to be saved.

And once saved He expects us to Go for others and bring them into His Kingdom and the way we do it is through the Holy Spirit.

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
    Acts 1:8 AMPC

God’s Power (the Holy Spirit) is not for us to misuse or show of or do any other things with, God is specific, He is not the author of confusion. We are meant to stay the course as Jesus did, and that’s one of the reasons we see Him victorious at the end of His journey on Earth.

    *Prayer*
Thank You God for creating me in Your own image and Likeness, and thank You also for the grace You have poured out for people to be saved and I am among those saved. I pray that through the Holy Spirit I will walk in the righteousness you desire me to and that Your love in me will direct me to the lost souls whom You want me to reach out and bring into you domain, that is Your Kingdom, in Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

  • What’s in a Name? – part 4

    What’s in a Name? – part 4

As we continue to look deeper on the Person if Jesus, we learned that we build our Relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit, that is the Holy Spirit is the third Person in the God head and we refer to Him as a Person and not an “it”. Secondly He is the One present in our time, that is He was sent to be with us and to guide us through this world and into eternity with God. Thirdly He is a sign of Guarantee to us by God (The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
    Ephesians 1:14 NLT
    )

We also learned that through prayers we are able to grow our relationship with God. In regards to prayer don’t think of it as just a one way medium of communication, that is you talking to God over and over again but a two way medium that is God talks to you as you talk to Him. These means that you have to train your ear to listen to God when He is speaking to you. Also we are to involve God in EVERYTHING we do per day.
Finally regarding prayer there are different kinds of prayer, (prayer to be baptized with the Holy Spirit – Act’s 19:1-7, prayer for praying in tongues also known as praying in the Holy Ghost – Jude 1.20, intercessory prayer – 1Timothy 2:1, prayer for spiritual eyes to be opened – 2 Kings 6:16-17, prayer of repentance – Psalms 51, prayer of salvation – Romans 10:8-11, prayer for generations -John 17, etc.)

    Key Scripture’s.

The three P’s in our key Scripture’s are purpose, person, power.

    1. Purpose:
Is a target, goal, an aim to be reached.

    Name:
A person, Reputation or also A unique identifier.

    2. Person:
A single human being, the physical human body, seen as distinct from the mind, character.

How do we build our Relationship then with the person of Jesus?

    1. Holy Spirit
    2. Prayer
    3. Word of God
    John 1:1,3
[1]IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]
[3]All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
    John 1:4 NLT

    2 Timothy 3:16-17
[16]Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
[17]So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

    Ephesians 6
[17]…the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.

We see God identify the Word as Jesus Christ and God wants us to be full of the Word because it draws us into the Person of Jesus, that is we get to know Him for ourselves.
The devil has always been against us knowing the Word of God since to the time of Genesis up to today and He constantly takes God’s Word from anyone who just does nothing after listening. (Matthew 13
[19]While anyone is hearing the Word of the kingdom and does not grasp and comprehend it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the roadside.)

    My Joy is that
    Matthew 13:11-12
[11]And He replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
[12]For whoever has [spiritual knowledge], to him will more be given and he will be furnished richly so that he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

    Mark 4
[11]And He said to them, To you has been entrusted the mystery of the kingdom of God [that is, the secret counsels of God which are hidden from the ungodly]; but for those outside [of our circle] everything becomes a parable,

Why does God don’t just want us to understand His word by our minds?
    1. Rhema /Revelation

Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”
    Matthew 16:15‭-‬19 NLT

Jesus was talking about the Rock of Revelation

A revealed Word from God is more powerful to you because no one can take it away or deceive you because it became’s Truth in your spirit but a word received by our minds is easy to be taken away or deceived as you will remember in the Garden of Eden, Adam received God’s revelation concerning not to eat fruit in the tree of the knowledge good and evil but Eve received from Adam word passed down, that is she received God’s word from Adam by her mind not her spirit and that’s why she was an easy target for the devil to deceive.

    Prayer:
Thank You God for the love You have for us that it pleased You to come and Live in us through Your Holy Spirit so that I may be one with You and You would teach me how Live in You. Thank You also for revealing to me the secrets to Your Kingdom, I pray I will continue to walk in the revelation to You have given me and will give in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

  • What’s in a Name? – part 3

    What’s in a Name? – part 3

Day three of one week devotions.
I thank God for you, that is for giving you the grace to come these far.
    As God’s word says.

    Zechariah 4
[6]Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.

So far we have looked at two P’s that is purpose and person in our key Scripture’s. We can see that the very first time the name of Jesus is introduced in Mary’s life it’s introduced with purpose behind it. One thing that I love about the way the angel Gabriel’s words to Mary is that he tells her( You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus) Mary was to conceive Jesus through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
(Imagine what God will birth through you because Jesus is in you)

My purpose and your’s in life is found when we are IN Jesus Christ.
The other thing we looked at was Person; from our three P’s and we see that Jesus identified Himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Something to note is that we relate to the person of Jesus through relationship and that’s how we get to KNOW Him more Intimately (Deeper).

In the day’s of the Disciple’s Jesus walked (had a relationship) with them and in our day’s Jesus is walking (has a relationship) with us through the Holy Spirit.

    Point to note:
The Name Jesus in us reveals our purpose in earth.
The Person of Jesus we get to know Him through relationship with Him and I love the fact that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life so if you have lost either one of these three (Way,Truth,Life) I want to encourage you that you will find them in Christ Jesus.

    Definitions:
    Know:
To be certain or sure about
To be acquainted or familiar with; to have encountered
    To have knowledge of.
    Knowing – (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)
    1. Having clear and certain perception of.
    2. a. Skillful; well informed; well instructed; as a knowing man/ woman.

    Key Scripture’s.

How do we build our Relationship then with the person of Jesus?

    1. Holy Spirit
He is the third person in the God head as seen from Genesis.
    Genesis 1
[26]God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

And also Jesus promised to send Him to us after He went to heaven.

    John 14:16-18
[16]And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
[17]The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
[18]I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.

The Holy Spirit is the Key for us to have a relationship with God, that is [Father,Son,Holy Spirit] for He lives in us when we are born again. For we are meant to relate with God as three in one.

    2. Prayer:
At the cross when Jesus died for our sins, the temple curtains were torn in half which indicated that God had( He has already given us, not will give us) given us entrace into His Presence at any time of the day, month and year, can you imagine these! And how we enter His Presence is by Prayers.

One thing that God has kept in my spirit for some few day’s now regarding prayer is that I should pray until something BREAKS! that is if you are struggling in any area.
Our prayers are powerful even when you seem to see nothing happening physically but spiritually walls are coming down. Something else to note is when fear and discouragement starts to creep up on you, immediately stop what you were doing and pray to God concerning that issue or need, and ask God for peace and Grace over it.

    Push acroname
    Pray
    Until
    Something
    Happens

In conclusion, we close with to the way Jesus taught His disciple’s to pray because it’s a basic (the foundation) Truth about prayer.

    Matthew 6:5-13
[5]Also when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward in full already.
[6]But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open.
[7]And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking.
[8]Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
[9]Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.
[10]Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
[11]Give us this day our daily bread.
[12]And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have given up resentment against) our debtors.
[13]And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

  • What’s in a Name? – part 2

    What’s in a Name? – part 2

Yesterday we learned that our names which we have are God given and they are unique to us, even though you will find other people being called you name it does not mean that they are you.

    Let’s see these illustration.
Science say’s that as humans there are things that we have been created with that are unique to us even when twins are born, we shall look at three:
Our finger prints: Our voices: Our eyes: yes all these three are identity separators, our nation ID has our finger prints in it and no one on Earth has the same prints as us. Our voice is so unique that police use a voice system to track down criminals when they just make a voice call. And lastly people who want to secure there wealth in safe places use eye detectors as password and no matter how many times you come in and try to putting your eyes nothing happens.

When God created us, as the psalmist say’s:
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
    Psalms 139:13‭-‬14 NLT

When Jesus was on the Earth there were other people who were named Jesus, like the time Jesus was being tried at Pilates house so that He may be crucified there was Jesus( The Lord) and Barabbas who was also known as Jesus. So what am I saying, God focused on one man in the entire world and named Him Jesus. A name unique to Him.

    Key Scripture’s.

Our focus today is on the Person of Jesus on our key Scripture’s we see:
Jesus saying that He is, the Way, the Life and the Truth.
These is evident in His entire life as we saw even when the angel Gabriel Sayed of Him.
If you back up to John 14 from verse one you will learn that the disciple’s had troubled hearts because He was speaking of leaving them and going to prepare a place for them in heaven and if we take a closer look to the chapter we see Thomas telling Jesus that he doesn’t KNOW the way to where Jesus is going, and Jesus told him and the other disciple’s that NOW THEY KNOW HIM, all Jesus was speaking to the disciple’s then was about having a personal( individual) relationship with Him and all He is Speaking to us is the same. WHY? O. Thanks so

Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who led his people 0 the wilderness. His faithful love endures forever. He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever. He gives food to every living thing. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.
