  • Power of Prayer – 2

    Power of Prayer – 2

Today in the morning I had the opportunity to sleep in up to around 9:30am, today is a holiday here in Kenya, called Mashujaa Day. A day we get to celebrate the hero’s who brought freedom to our land. It has been a long time since I had a morning like this, where I had no pressure of work or personal projects or anything else in between. After taking my garbage out, for today is when they are normally picked, I decided to head up to the roof of our building, it has three sides, one side is a big open space, and another is where people get to hang their clothes and finally the last side is where the tanks of the building are.

As I was on the side that has a big open space, I felt good, relaxed and started to give God thanks for this house and location He brought me, for some time, the place where I am today, I have kept telling God of how I am not enjoying somethings and as a matter of fact been feeling bad about being here. But I have those moments where I step outside my balcony and see the beauty and glory of this lands surrounding me and that leave me breathless. Today was one such day. As I looked outside in the rooftop, I was able to see all four directions of the world. North, South, East and West. And I started to thank God for bringing me here and at the same time asking Him to forgive me for the many times I complained about this location and house where He chose to bring me. From the place where I was and where God brought me, they are completely different, that place was close to friends, and cell ( our small group fellowship of church) it was an easy access to town CBD, the Matatus were a lot (but a hustle to get during work days) the water was not consistent) etc. The place where I am today, The Matatus (Nissans) are few but you are always assured of getting it during work days, its only in the evening at late hours like past ten, that they start to become scares. The other thing is that the place has consistent water, an open Kitchen, spacious rooms, a lot of cabinets including a shoe rack, a big balcony and an amazing view, a hot shower and lastly good neighbour’s and neighbourhood.

Today I was reminded of the prayer I prayed during the time I was about to live my home and start to live by myself. I remember the fear I had when I was about to leave. I was scared because I was unsure of the place where I was working they had told us that come next year, we would not have contracts to work, meaning we would be jobless, I didn’t have savings for moving out, and that’s when God wanted me to move out, a season where I was unprepared, He gave me a command during December last weeks, that I must move out in January. I refused for some days and could not shake that command and God din’t change either. So I submitted and agreed to obey, when I did, God released the provision for that house and helped me move out. I remember my key prayer when I lived home with my grandmother was that, I wanted to live in a neighbourhood called Civil servant, then move to Buru Buru and later God would take me where He wanted to through my wife. ( The wife part has not yet happened 🙂 )but God did take me to where He wanted Marurui.

On my first house (Called Bethel) my prayer was:

    • I wanted a one bedroom house in Civil servant
    • I wanted a house where I could star gaze during the night

    God answered this prayer.

On my second house (Called El-roi) my prayer was:

    • I wanted a two bedroom house
    • A house that had a separate kitchen
    • To have a balcony

And the house I was seeing when I was praying that had all this was my friends house, and its the house I went to live to as my second house. God taught me that year and during that time I started in that house that He is the one who gives me (us) desires of good things and that we should always bring back those desires to Him and pray and ask Him what we want.

The house I lived before coming to my second house was a ground house and the sewer line passed outside my door, so their were days where the sewer would block, and flood my toilet in the house for some day and I hated this. There was also mices. My second house my Key prayer was to live in like third floor onwards to avoid that experience again. As you know God aswered this prayer also of the second house.

On my third and current house (called El-Shadai – House of Miracles) my prayer was:

    • I wanted four things, Consistent water, A shower, open Kitchen and a big yard. God answered it differently but more than what I had asked for. God gave me, Consistent water, big rooms, two wall mirrors, one in the bedroom and the other next to the kitchen. A hot shower, a balcony, many many cabinets from the kitchen to the sitting room and to the bedroom and I have no idea of how to use all of them. Internet supplied at the building, and the yard God replaced with a rooftop that I told you about.

What am I leading to, if you had not gotten it, this is what I am saying. God is pleased to hear all our prayers, both small one asking for petty things like living in a place where you could see the stars in the night (all the houses I have lived God has ensured that I have this prayer item 🙂 ) or asking for big things like to live in a two bedroom house in a neighbourhood that is expensive.

I don’t know what small or big things you have or are asking God, but no matter what they are God is more than able to answer the prayer, so don’t hold back or shy away from asking Him, He wants soo much to be involved in your life in every aspect and every season.

    Ephesians 3:20 AMP
20Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,

My God (Jesus Christ) answers prayer and specifically He answers my prayer. My prayer for you is that you get to this point where you can confidently say that your God (Jesus Christ) answers your prayers.

    Christ Is Supreme

    Colosians 1:16 NLT

15Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,

16for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 17He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. 18Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.

I leave you with this song from Elevation Worship, may it bless your heart and draw you close to God and a place of trusing Him more and more. Have a blessed morning, day, night, week, month and year. Shalom!

  • Power of Prayer – Part 1

Power of Prayer – Part 1

I thank God for the grace He has given me to be able to write today, and also in this platform as a way to share with you and everyone this journey of mine with Christ. I pray that as you continue to connect and engage with me, you will draw more to Jesus, because it’s all about Him. Jesus gives life meaning and purpose, not our work, salary, friends, family, school level, etc.

What is prayer? before we even get to see and understand the power of prayer if there is any we need first to understand what is prayer.

Have you ever asked yourself that question, what is prayer? what answer did you give yourself? what answers have others given you concerning what prayer is?
Is prayer, all about facing a specific mountain? or tree? or maybe using big and eloquent words? or is it repeating one word over and over and over? or what we say before we eat or sleep or wake up? All this sound good, right?

Prayer to me is a relationship with God, for we prayer to someone who has more power or ability than us. Prayer is conversation with God. And there are different ways we get to prayer, like praying when we get up in the morning, when we go to sleep, when we are about to eat, when we are in trouble, or when things are going on well.

One of the best things I learned in my walk with God is knowing how to pray. For me, I learned that, the moment I gave my life to Jesus, I answered the knock He was knocking in my heart (Revelations 3:20 NLT) I opened up, and He came in. Because Jesus lives in me through the Holy Spirit, I can talk to Him all day long, verbally or through my thoughts. And the good part is that He talks back. Before writing this post, I had taken a step outside my balcone and I was star gazing and I started to think about how God has soo muuuch thoughts about me, think with me, the Bible says:

    Psalms 139:17-18 TPT

Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.

God is thinking of me, He is thinking of you also constantly through out every second of the day you get to wake up, SELAH !

Prayer is attractive when it yields results. The disciples who walked with Jesus got to experience this first hand with Jesus. Because Jesus spent more time with God in prayer. Jesus is God, and He spent more time praying.

    Genesis 1:26 AMP

Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.”

    John 1:1-4, 10-11 NIV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

    Colossians 1:15-17 NIV

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

As clearly shown from these scripture, they tell us that Jesus is God, many people they only think of Jesus as Man, and end up missing it. For Jesus was Fully Man and God at the same time.

My point is this, when you believe that Jesus is God, through Faith, then God gives one the clarity to see and be able to accept Him, and when Jesus comes in you, through the Holy Spirit, He begins to teach you and guide you into all truth.

Prayer is attractive, the disciples were so amazed at how Jesus would pray and things would happen, some of the prayers listed in the Bible of how Jesus prayed were very simple and others short. So we can follow Jesus’s example on this.

When we pray we need to have faith in God that first, He wants to hear us and answer us. And also there is nothing too small to come to God and pray about, nor anything too big that would make God surprised.

One of the major barrier to having faith in God is when we start to reason out everything with logic or as some would say ” Vitu kwa ground ni different” ,”What’s on paper is not what’s at the ground” In order for me and you to have faith, we have to release trust to God compeletly. Trusting God does not have anything to do with understanding. I don’t need to understand fully what God is telling me to do in order to trust Him. Has God every put you in a tight spot of trusting Him without understanding? God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, whom He had given to him as a promise? Has God ever promised something to you and asked you to give it up? Abraham had to trust God without understanding, and this is where faith comes in, for faith gives us the ability to trust God without understanding, believing that God has the best intention for me.

I hope this first part has answered some of the questions you may have about prayer. As we look now to the second part we shall explore some of the results others in the Bible have had, when it comes to prayers, and I will finish up with some of the results I have seen in my life through prayers.

  • God has sense of Humor

    God has sense of Humor

To begin with, let’s put on our thinking caps. Think of how a live play is produced. We have the cast, the stage, and you as one of the audiences. Maybe it’s a play you have been looking forward to being part of, for the whole year and finally, you got the opportunity to attend. A friend comes and gives you the tickets to it.

The day finally comes to go, you go with your friend and see the play. The play starts off well, you have high expectations and possibly how it should end. You sit there at your sit and start narrating the entire play in your mind from start to finish. In the middle of the play you notice, the storyline is starting to take a different direction from the one you had written in your mind. You sit at the edge of your sit in anticipation, then abruptly the play comes to an expected end. Looking confused you ask your friend what is happening, he turns to you and tells you that, that was just the first part of the play, that there is another part coming up next week and there and then hands you the tickets to it. In disbelive, you cannot fathom what has just happened…

Well, your friend had an inside story about the story of the play.
When we talk about God having a sense of humor, it does not mean that He sits in Heaven laughing at us. We mean, God knows the exact place and season we are in life. He knows the ups alongside the downs and has a way prepared for us that does not seem visible at that moment.

For the last two months, I have been in a tight corner of financial need. My daily work is in design (graphic design, UI & UX design) so for those two months (August and September 2022) it has been hard to get projects, I have had more promising inquiries but they have not actualized. I remember praying and asking God to show up, other times I was frustrated with God because I felt like God had abandoned me to handle the challenges I was going through. All through this, I had a piece and confidence that things will work out for God kept encouraging me that He has got this ( whatever I was worried about) for I felt the care of God in these two months even if I could not see a way. I think at times we have an imagination or desire of how God will work or come through in a situation. Forgetting that He is God, and has many ways of doing one thing. A good example of this would be how Jesus healed some of the blind people( different healing but same issue)

As we conclude, my good report is that things have started to open up for me in my work,
the word God gave me during this period I have been in need was:

    Romans 8:28 (New Living Translation)
And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

God is the one who causes everything to work together no matter how bad it gets or looks like, that is an assurance you can Trust and hold on to.

    God is Faithful!!!

    Hebrews 13:5b (New Living Translation)
    “I will never fail you.
        I will never abandon you.”

  • Jireh – Abundance – part 2

    Jireh – Abundance – part 2

From our first part of Abundance, we learned that the people who were sent out to spy on the land came with reports. i.e. ten instilled fear and doubt in the Israelite community and two spoke faith in God and what God had promised them. One of the biggest obstacles that the ten saw in the land of Canaan was giants (man) which made them so afraid of receiving the gift (promise) God had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey. The funny thing was that it was what they kept telling themselves, thus making the entire community doubt God and His promise by telling themselves the same thing, “We cannot conquer this land because the giants (men) who leave here are way stronger than us” They forgot the God who brought plagues to Egyptians when God was bringing them out of Egypt. They also forgot how God did an impossible thing, something that had never been done before, creating a path in the Red Sea for them to cross.

    Numbers 14 NKJV

10 And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”

13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation[b] of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[c] your peace.”

15 And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. 16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.

From the above scripture, we learn that God is in the details, He told Moses that they would cross on dry ground at the sea and it happened just as He said.

When the Israelites came to Canaan, the immediate fear of the giants returned them to the default state of the mindset of being weak, for that is what they knew all their lives, for 450 years.

God was displeased with them for they did not believe Him and His Word, even after what He had done for them. They did not trust God to protect them and believe that He would give Canaan to them by taking it from a strong people (giants)

    Hebrews 11:6 Amplified Bible
But without faith, it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Many are the times we return back to slavery (our Egypt) for its what we have known for a long time, it seems safe, even if it’s hard. We say to ourselves, it is better for me to go through this than face that. eg.

    • Ignore someone then forgive him/her
    • Lie than tell the truth
    • Keep my friend circle or worldly fun/pleasure then receive Jesus into my heart
    • Seek what satisfies me than seeking God first

The list is endless, you know yours and what is keeping hold of you.

The good news is that what we are learning about in this series of Jireh about “Abundance” is that when God told Moses He was going to send the people back to the wilderness, He wanted all the Israelites to know their identity as the people of God among others things.

To the Israelites, the wilderness seemed like a place of death, and they constantly complained that God had brought them there to die. Has God brought you to a place where you feel helpless, weak, and like you will never make it out?

Jireh means the Lord will provide, a provision is needed when there is a need.
If you happen to be in such a season of the wilderness, know that God wants to mold you into someone who reflects His identity in the sphere of your influence.

Among the miracles God did for His people, was provide food and water for them, in a very different way than they were used to or thought possible. The way you acquire your provision may be shut, but that does not mean God’s provision is, for God’s word says His provision in the wilderness came to where they were. So no matter what you may be facing, be encouraged that God will locate you where you are and provide in ABUNDANCE

  • Jireh – Abundance – part 1

    Jireh – Abundance – part 1

Today we begin our expansion from the word Jire, that is Abundance. We want to learn more about the word Jireh by breaking them down into bits.

    Key scriptures:

    Numbers 13,14 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

13 The Lord said to Moses, “Send men to explore Canaan, which I’m giving to the Israelites. Send one leader from each of their ancestors’ tribes.” So at the Lord’s command, Moses sent these men from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.25 Forty days later, they came back from exploring the land. 26 They came back to Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of Israel at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. They gave their report and showed them the fruit from the land.27 This is what they reported to Moses: “We went to the land where you sent us. It really is a land flowing with milk and honey. Here’s some of its fruit. 28 But the people who live there are strong, and the cities have walls and are very large. We even saw the descendants of Anak there…
30 Caleb told the people to be quiet and listen to Moses. Caleb said, “Let’s go now and take possession of the land. We should be more than able to conquer it.”

31 But the men who had gone with him said, “We can’t attack those people! They’re too strong for us!” 32 So they began to spread lies among the Israelites about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored is one that devours those who live there. All the people we saw there are very tall. 33 We saw Nephilim there. (The descendants of Anak are Nephilim.) We felt as small as grasshoppers, and that’s how we must have looked to them.”

14 Then all the people in the Israelite community raised their voices and cried out loud all that night. They complained to Moses and Aaron, “If only we had died in Egypt or this desert! Why is the Lord bringing us to this land—just to have us die in battle? Our wives and children will be taken as prisoners of war! Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” They said to each other, “Let’s choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”
Don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. We will devour them like bread. They have no protection, and the Lord is with us. So don’t be afraid of them.”
11 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to trust me in spite of all the miraculous signs I have done among them?
17 “Lord, let your power be as great as when you said, 18 ‘The Lord … patient, forever loving…. He forgives wrongdoing and disobedience…. He never lets the guilty go unpunished, punishing children … for their parents’ sins to the third and fourth generation….’ 19 By your great love, please forgive these people’s sins, as you have been forgiving them from the time they left Egypt until now.”

20 The Lord said, “I forgive them, as you have asked. 21 But as I live and as the glory of the Lord fills the whole earth, I solemnly swear that 22 none of the people who saw my glory and the miraculous signs I did in Egypt and in the desert will see the land which I promised their ancestors. They have tested me now ten times and refused to obey me.[b]23 None of those who treat me with contempt will see it! 24 But because my servant Caleb has a different attitude and has wholeheartedly followed me, I’ll bring him to the land he already explored. His descendants will possess it. 25 (The Amalekites and Canaanites are living in the valleys.) Tomorrow you must turn around, go back into the desert, and follow the road that goes to the Red Sea.”

  • Jireh

    Jireh

Jehovah Yireh = The Lord will provide.

Jehovah or Yahwe Is God Almighty, The Living God, The Creator of everything that exists on the universe and in the heavens.

    Jireh is pronounced Yireh

Back in High school, I can say I got to enjoy my time, I went to a new school, that is, a school that we were the first students to ever learn there. It was a special thing because we were the ones to set the trend for oncoming students. We had two forms, that is, form one and two and these classes ended up to become the first and second form four of the school. My high school was called Jehovah Jireh. It is here that I got to learn the meaning of what these names meant, I remember during pared our Principal, explained it to us, and when I connected with her explanation and all that God was doing for me in that school it all made sense. For most of my school fees, I was being supported by well-wishers, God provided for me and my family in so many ways.
I just wanted to take time to write about God, who is Jehovah Jireh, what God has placed in my heart is that He is more than enough of what you need. Be encouraged as we learn together these series in-depth and the different meaning’s these name has “Jireh”

In the Book of Genesis, Jehovah-jireh or Yahweh Yireh (Jehovah/Yahweh will provide) was a place in the land of Moriah. It was the location of the binding of Isaac, where God told Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering. Abraham named the place after God provided a ram to sacrifice in place of Isaac. The phrase continues to be used among Christians. “And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.” – Genesis 22:14 (KJV)

The Hebrew language is a superior language (YES) It is fuller, more explicit, more clear, and precise than let’s say English or French. eg; one word may mean 30 words in English

What does the word or name Jireh mean?

The word Jireh has many meanings:

    • Abundance
    • To bless
    • To prosper
    • Success
    • Sustenance
    • Fulfillment
    • Protection
    • Shelter
    • Graciousness
    • Enjoyment
    • Rain (God will bring rain in the dryness)
    • Revival

In other words, it is all ways God can bless a person.

  • What’s in a Name? – part 7

    What’s in a Name? – part 7

Welcome to the Family of God.
I thank God for you who prayed to receive Jesus as Lord in your life. Jesus has made us (me, you and everyone born again child of God, one family)

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
    Galatians 3:26‭-‬29 NLT

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
    1 John 5:11‭-‬12 NLT

    What does salvation mean?
It simply means to be born again.

What does it mean to be born again?
    1. Your sins are forgiven because the blood of Jesus was shed (Hebrews 9:22)
    2. Jesus is in your heart because you opened the door of your heart to Him (revelation 3:20)
    3. You are a new creation (1Corinthians 5:17)
    4. God accepts you into His Family, which makes you part of a new family (Galatians 4:4-6)

    *Key Scripture’s*
    Luke 1:31 , John 14:6, Philippians 2:5-11 NLT.

You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.
    Luke 1:31 NLT
    (Purpose)

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
    John 14:6 NLT
    (Person)

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
    Philippians 2:5‭-‬11 NLT
    (Power)

The three P’s in our key Scripture’s are purpose, person, power.

    1. Purpose:
Is a target, goal, an aim to be reached.
The reason why something is done or it’s done in a particular way.

    Name:
A person, Reputation or also A unique identifier.

    2. Person:
A single human being, the physical human body, seen as distinct from the mind, character.

    3. Power
    It’s capability or influence
    Physical force or strength

Today being our last day of the series on What’s in a Name?
We shall focus on the power behind the name of Jesus.

The 70 disciples came back very happy. They said, “Lord, even demons obey us when we use the power and authority of your name!” Jesus said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy’s power. Nothing will hurt you. However, don’t be happy that evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven.”
    Luke 10:17‭-‬20 GW

Jesus said, “I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I’ve given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that’s the agenda for rejoicing.”
    Luke 10:18‭-‬20 MSG

Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me. I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold.
    John 17:11‭-‬12 NLT

He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death on a cross. This is why God has given him an exceptional honor— the name honored above all other names— so that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
    Philippians 2:8‭-‬11 GW

We have learned that the Name of Jesus has been elevated above all other names that is (angels, devil’s, needs, wants, sicknesses or any other name that is there) God has made the name of Jesus to carry Power behind it and we see the that when Jesus sent the 72 disciple’s out they came back victorious because of the Name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus to us carries many things, that is
Salvation, Freedom, protection, unity,Life, hope, healing, Love, forgiveness, mercy, Grace, transformation, Purpose, relationship with God, miracles, power and authority over rulers of the unseen world, and God expects us not missuse His Name in any way.

As God’s Children let’s always be
    *God inside minded*

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
    1 John 4:4 AMPC

    *Prayers*
We close with the prayers Jesus prayed for us.

“My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are.

“Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”
    John 17:9‭-‬11‭, ‬13‭-‬26 NLT
